Ptarmigan are just the beginning. Churchill sits directly on a major migratory flyway, making it one of the best birding destinations in North America. From tundra swans and snow geese, to jaegers, loons, and the dazzling warblers that pass through each spring and fall, every day offers something new and spectacular. And with the wide-open tundra and Hudson Bay shoreline as your backdrop, even the “common” sightings feel extraordinary.

The idea for Ptarmigan Ptours was born on a cold day on the tundra during bear season.  Please note Ptarmigan Ptours are much warmer than polar bear tours.
