COLOURS OF THE TUNDRA
OUR TOURS | COLOURS OF THE TUNDRA TOUR
Colours of the Tundra Tour
It might be the best kept secret in Churchill but there is a window in late summer/early fall when all the things that make Churchill amazing are available all on the same itinerary. In the late summer the belugas are in the river, the bears are on the tundra, and the northern lights fill the sky. Set to the amazing palette of colours of the changing season this is the perfect trip for people that want to see it all (or can’t make up there minds on what they want to see most).
Traveling to Churchill isn’t always easy, so we’ve made it simple by bundling everything into one seamless, all-inclusive package—from flights and accommodations to daily guided excursions.
This tour is not physically strenuous, but participants should be prepared for:
- Any kind of weather (sunny, windy, rainy, sometimes all at the same time)
- Must have the ability to climb in and out of our 4×4 vans (with a stool) and zodiac-style watercraft
- The patience and focus that wildlife photography requires
Unlike tours that rush from sighting to sighting, we believe in slow, respectful wildlife encounters. We take our time with individual bears or family groups, allowing you to observe natural behaviors and capture more meaningful images.
For our Colours of the Tundra package we utilize local hotels for accommodation.
