We did it last year and it was so much fun we decided to do it again.

This 7-day expedition brings you to the remote and stunning outpost of Churchill, Manitoba, where you’ll spend afternoons exploring the tundra — photographing wildlife and landscapes, enjoying hikes (weather permitting) , museum visits, and dogsledding — and nights chasing the shimmering northern lights. You’ll stay in comfortable local accommodations, with all transport provided, and take part in a dedicated photography and editing workshop designed to help you capture the magic of the night sky.

The trip features four nights of aurora hunting, highlighted by a full lunar eclipse on March 3, offering a rare and unforgettable opportunity to photograph both the aurora borealis and the moon’s dramatic transformation over the Arctic landscape.

Round-trip flights from Winnipeg and all scheduled activities are included, with aurora outings and excursions subject to weather and safety conditions.
